We’re thrilled to celebrate Ruth Kay Kangwa-Ndhlovu, an inspiring alumna from our 2021 Southern Africa Public Leadership Programme! Ruth, a passionate Human Rights and Governance Lawyer, has recently achieved a significant milestone with the launch of the "Girls Gone Political" civic handbook.

This groundbreaking resource, unveiled to coincide with Zambia’s 60th Independence anniversary, is designed to empower young women by demystifying the governance structure, electoral processes, and democratic framework of Zambia.

As the founder of this impactful movement, Ruth is leading the charge to break down barriers and build active civic participation among young women. Her dedication to democracy, peace, and gender equality shines brightly through this initiative, setting a powerful example of leadership and commitment.

Congratulations, Ruth, on this remarkable achievement—your work is paving the way for a more inclusive and engaged future for Zambia’s young women!
