We recently hosted the Introduction to Governance webinar organised by the Governance Working Group of the Futurelect Alumni Community!
During this 60-minute session, a panel of Futurelect alumni with deep experience in the sector delved into the essentials of public governance and the transformation of political vision into public policy. The engaging discussions covered the key features of good governance in democracies and tackled urgent issues such as poverty, inequality, and climate change.
Moderated by Lesego Barona Otlhabanye (2020 Futurelect Cohort), the webinar featured valuable insights from panellists Bheki Mkhatshwa (2021 Futurelect Cohort), Kagiso Zwane (2023 Futurelect Cohort) and Ruth Capon (Brain) (2022 Cohort). It was open to alumni, the 2024 cohort, and the public and attracted nearly 100 registrants.
